Mushroom Kings began in 2014 with a single goal: to bring the rare and remarkable flavors of wild mushrooms to Atlanta. Our roots trace back to importing black truffles from the Carpathian Mountains of Romania—but at the time, the Atlanta food scene wasn’t quite ready for specialty fungi and then Covid shut down the world.
We stayed the course.
Mission
Over the years, as interest in wild and foraged foods has grown, so have we. Today, we source some of the world’s most prized mushrooms—from deep Appalachian forests to alpine valleys across Europe—and deliver them fresh to chefs, home cooks and curious food lovers across the Southeast.
Every mushroom we offer is hand-harvested, seasonal, and deeply connected to the land it comes from. No shortcuts. No substitutes. Just pure, wild flavor.
We believe that eating well means connecting to nature—and nothing connects you quite like a mushroom pulled from the forest floor and brought to your table.
